What?

Who?

Glynne Davies is a veterinary surgeon who founded a general practice in 1980 which is now a two-centre, four vet practice. As senior partner he takes the lead role in management of the practice. In 2001 he was awarded the Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management by the Veterinary Practice Management Association (VPMA) and with his encouragement the last two practice managers at the practice have also been awarded the CVPM.

He sits on VPMA Council as Hon Treasurer and is a CVPM examiner. In 2003 he was awarded the degree of MBA with distinction, his studies including a thesis on Gender and generational attitudes to veterinary practice ownership in the U.K.

Why?

Veterinary practices are small businesses which rarely have the critical size to provide all of the key business skills in house that are necessary in today's competitive market.

You e-mail or post your key business information at agreed intervals and we compile regular reports on your business performance. Your report will be prepared according to targets agreed with you in advance.

Your key information will depend on your strategic aims, but will usually include a selection of monthly or quarterly management accounts, new client registrations, consultations numbers, key fees, survey reports such as SPVS, ANVAL, FDI, MAI and Wholesaler information.

We collate your key information into a comprehensive report addressing the issues agreed with you in advance. Trends are highlighted and concise recommendations and advice based on your data are made. We stay in touch to ensure that you stay on target.

innovetquest is your personalised client survey facility.

A bespoke client survey is constructed to address the aims agreed with you in advance. We mail out a professionally produced document to your target list and the responses are returned to us, thus ensuring anonymity and encouraging frank responses. We then analyse the responses and write a report centred on your stated aims.

Where?

Most of 's business with you can be conducted via e-mail and telephone. When a meeting is necessary, we can come to you or you can come to us.

Security

is registered with the Information Commissioner under the Data Protection Act 1998. All client data remain the property of your practice and will not be divulged to third parties without your specific written consent. (Registration No. Z9145893)

Anonymised data will be used to compile generic reports of interest to the profession as a whole, but the identity of your financial data will never be divulged to third parties.
